Dra. MERRILL MEGAN

After matriculating from urology residency at UMDNJ in South Jersey, Dr. Merrill completed a 2-year SUO fellowship at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Her research focus was in kidney cancer investigating the role of miRNAs in renal cell carcinoma as well as studying predictors of outcomes in patients with ccRCC and sarcomatoid dedifferentiation.
She joined the department at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and James Cancer Center in September 2014, where she continues to practice Urologic Oncology.
Approximately half of Dr. Merrill’s practice is bladder cancer and upper tract disease. Her research interests are primarily in bladder cancer, in particularly clinical outcomes in females undergoing treatment for non-muscle invasive and muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
